When you’re travelling on the Ha Giang Loop, you only need to bring a small rucksack with you on the bike.
We recommend bringing a bag no larger than 35 litres. Your large suitcase or other luggage can be securely stored at the hotel while you complete the tour.
The smaller and lighter your bag is, the more comfortable your journey will be. You really don’t need to bring much with you – less is better!
Keep your packing simple and bring the essentials you’ll need during the day and in the evenings.
You don’t need to bring bulky waterproof equipment with you. We provide full waterproofs for the journey.
We also provide a waterproof bag for your rucksack on the bike, helping to keep your belongings protected if the weather changes.
There’s no need to take your suitcase around the Ha Giang Loop. Your larger luggage will be securely stored at the hotel while you’re away on the tour.
Simply pack the essentials you need into your smaller rucksack before setting off. A bag of 35 litres or less is ideal.
Pack light, bring comfortable clothing and only take what you actually need. Having a smaller bag makes travelling around the loop much easier and more comfortable.
